Offering for your consideration we have a pretty stamp box that has a wonderful Art Nouveau decorative style.

The lid shows an Aladdin lamp with scrolls and stylized flowers and has a smooth hinge mechanism. The base curves to a point on the front and back and is decorated by bows. There are four molded legs that keep it up off a desk surface. Inside you'll see 3 wells of different dimensions to hold different sizes of stamps.

This has a nice golden finish with a wonderful patina that just glows. This is quite functional and would be a welcome gift for a woman in your life. It is sized to fit a small desk surface.

In wonderful vintage condition, with the gilt paint having just a few spots of tarnish. There's also a red line in the right compartment, apparently drawn with a pen. No damage as far as missing casting, etc. This really could use just a nice cleaning.

This pretty piece measures 5.5" long x 3.5" wide 1.5" high at the back of the box.
