The early Germany mark on the bottom of both of these pieces indicates late 19th Century as most smaller items were either unmarked or just marked with the country of origin.

Offering for your consideration we have a lovely, lovely Victorian chocolate cup set with a pretty mold that flares up towards the scalloped rim.

The pink flowers are dainty and fine with hand painted white enameling. You'll see that the flowers wrap gently around the the back of the cup and two areas of the saucer. There is also greenery above the floral area on the cup. The gold is a bit worn on the rims and handle but still shows every slow slightly.

We could not detect any damage to either piece.

The cup measures 2.875" high and the saucer is 4.375" in diameter.
