Offering for your consideration we have a lovely hand carved shell cameo brooch featuring a wonderful Daisy & Ribbon motif.

There is a daisy cluster in our Victorian Lady's up swept long hair as well as a daisy corsage upon her shoulder. She has a flowing dress draped across her bosom. Her shell has a pale pink background and she is a creamy white color.

The bezel is beaded at the top and the rim is enhanced with a ribbon shaped frame. You can see solder marks on the back of this item where bezel and frame have been united. I could not find any makers mark for her but based on Victorian motif, I would guess this is early 1900's and most likely not originally made for exportation.
