Offering for your consideration is a porcelain master nut bowl entirely hand painted. Interior is a light beige color. Rim is scalloped and has gold detail. Exterior is an overall dark chocolate brown color. There are sections of a lighter yellow color as well.
The hand painted design is chestnuts and leaves which was very popular during this time period. By 1904, there was a blight on chestnut trees that almost wiped them out in North America. This is a nice find! Dish has four curved legs.
Dimensions: 7.25" long x 6.25" wide at widest center point.
Condition: Slight gold wear to the rim; easily re-gilded. No damage to porcelain.
