This lovely pot is decorated with carnations in full bloom and carnation buds. Carnations are lavender and melon with green leaves and stems that surround the flowers. This looks as though someone painted a bouquet then transferred it onto the pot. The flowers have white enameling as highlights. There is also nice gold ribbon highlighting around the flowers.
The mold for the pot shows a decorative handle painted with gold stripes. The rim is ruffled to look like a lady's collar it seems. Spout is short and points up; this is an older mold design.
Dimensions: 10" high to top of lid
Condition: You'll notice a tight hairline in the lid but the carnation decoration masks this very well. It does extend down into the base of lid but because this sits down into pot it is not noticed.
SELLER'S TIP: To remove discoloration in the line, soak the lid in salon strength peroxide. Once the discoloration is gone, this line will be all but invisible. Never use bleach as this will harm the porcelain.
