Oscar Schlegelmilch Prussia Hand Painted Candle Sticks

Hallmark: C.S. Prussia clover mark stamped in blue on bottom. Mark was used by Carl Schlegelmilch's factory between 1882 - 1912. According to Mary Frank Gaston in her fourth series of R.S. Prussia Collector's Encyclopedia, "Examples with this mark are seldom found on the American market." These are a rare find.

This pretty pair of candlesticks that would enhance any table setting. These are hand painted with delicate greenery and pink roses at the bottom. Other areas are highlighted with gold. Wonderful hard paste porcelain.

Dimensions: 5.25" tall

Condition: Small area of a break on inside of one candlestick. I think someone was trying to pry candle wax off of the interior. This does not affect display quality or hinder using these. They are very lovely!
