LAYOUT: First page has inscription in pencil: "Elmer Dunbar", two blank pages, fourth page has man and girl illustration, fifth and sixth page publishing information. Story starts on page seven. There are a total of seven black and white pencil illustrations throughout. I have pictured all but one showing horses in a pastoral setting. I could not get a clear picture for some reason.

CONDITION: Spine has come unglued, paper cover has some wear as does corners. Pages show age related patina. Last page has hole where it became stuck to back cover at one time.
