Oyster plate Austria 19th. Century Impressed Mark Flower Mold

Hallmark: Victoria Karlsbad Austria impressed on back of plate. This mark was used between 1883-1888.

Offering for your consideration we have a wonderful flower mold oyster plate in pristine white. Oyster wells sit in the petals of the mold with a sauce well in center. Notice the slightly raised base and very Victorian design.

The oyster course was part of a considerably large dinner at the turn of the century. Each course had it's own dishes which most times complimented each other. The perfect white of this dish would go with other course offerings no matter what the pattern. It is indeed a lovely mold.

Condition: Beautiful; no damage!
