Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Antique Victorian Clothes Brush Engraved Mauser Manufacturing Fine

$155 USDArt Nouveau Sterling Silver Antique Victorian Clothes Brush Engraved Mauser Manufacturing Fine Sterling Silver

his wonderfully detailed Victorian clothes brush is pure sterling silver. The handle and top area of the brush have an enormous amount of detail with what looks like daisies, leaves, and scrolling. Engraved "Lois" on handle in an oval frame which was made specifically for personalization. Pieces like this typically came as an entire dresser or vanity set when new and were purchased as gift for a bride. Very romantic! The makers mark we attribute to the Mauser Manufacturing Co., c. 1887 - 1903. ...

$165 USDVictorian Russian Silverplate Soup Ladle Floral Pattern

Silver:Antique:Silver Plate:Russian:Soup Ladle
This excellent example of Victorian Silverplate is marked 'NORBLINiSA' which is from a Russian Company, Frazhe and we believe is the pattern name. We found a caviar spoon with the same name from a Russian Antique website which dates the piece from beginning of 20th c. Please email us if you would like more information on this particular company. Back to this superb ladle. It does show age related wear but when we applied a bit of Haggerty polish it just glowed telling us that this is very fine ...

There is a hand painted enameled decoration of flowers and swags on the interior of the bowl. Something you don't really see much of in these items. There is very little wear to this area. We did not find any damage whatsoever to the bowl. The elaborate, extremely well made, silver plated holder is from the Poole Silver Company, Taunton. ...

Silver:Antique:Silver Plate:English:Sugar Cube Tongs
These sugar tongs are really decorative and we believe to be late 1800's from the design. There is a lovely fan shape decoration on the handles of the tongs and the 'claw' area as well. There is no doubt what these were used for as they are made to delicately fit around a sugar cube. One lump or two? These would compliment a nice silver plate tea set. They are marked 'Made In England EPNS A1" and measure 6" in length.

Antique Sterling Silver Cake Pastry Serving Fork Azalea

$95 USDAntique Sterling Silver Cake Pastry Serving Fork Azalea

Silver:Antique:Sterling:Art Nouveau:Cake Fork
Although this sterling fork looks like a meat fork, the design is a bit different. Each tine is connected making this a more delicate fork for serving pastries and cake. The pattern is Azalea and was produced by Blackinton & Co. Pat. c. 1902. You see that it features azaleas on the tip of the handle and towards the middle. There is an extremely fancy monogram on the handle tip. This almost looks like it is part of the pattern because we cannot discern what the initials are. There is a bit of a ...
