This is a beautiful old chromolithograph from 1899, entitled "Fruhlingslied". It's by the Victorian artist, Von Gastgeb, who was well known for his chubby little cupids. This print depicts 2 serenading cupids, one reading sheet music, the other playing the mandolin. A lovely reclining lady with bare breast listens intently, surrounded by cherry or apple blossoms. The flesh tones in this print are soft and beautiful. The colors in this are fantastic, I don't think it's ever seen the light of day. It is in mint condition, no flaws at all. It is not glued to the mat.

This lovely image is in the half yard long format, and the sight measurement is 6.5 x 11 inches (under the mat it is 9.75 x 13.75 inches (see photo).
