SALE ON! Layaway Available--start thinking Christmas!
This sweet little rose study is by the French Victorian watercolorist, Paul de Longpre. The cabbage roses are scarlet red, in a loose bouquet that can be used either horizontally as shown or vertically. The print is also an old 1890's chromolithograph. This 1900 Victorian print is housed in a contemporary, heavy white porcelain frame which compliments the roses perfectly, and the frame is in very good condition. It has a velvet easel back, and also tabs for hanging both directions. This framed print measures aprox 7 x 9 inches. (Please note that there is a shadow on the bottom of the framed print that is NOT on the print, it's just my flash glare reflection when I photographed it. Also, on the closeup photo, there is some white streaking flash glare through it horizontally, also not part of the print.)
