This grand old chromolithograph is a circa 1880's bookplate of clematis flower. The bloom is exquisite, and the purple floral hues outstanding. It is housed in a vintage filigree gold metal frame with white highlights. The frame juts upward and out from the base at an angle, giving the framed print its due magnificence. Overall size with the frame is aprox 7.25 x 9.25 inches. The back has a little tab for hanging, or prop it up anywhere for a splash of color. Also included in this listing are 2 pages from the old book from which this bookplate was taken. Be sure to also look for the sweet peas and hydrangeas by Hulme.
