SALE Antique Victorian 1890's Pink ROSES Oil Painting

This is a beautiful 1890's painting, with oodles of pink cabbage roses in a loose cascading study. It is an oil on Academy board, and the artwork is just great. The oil in in very good condition, with just a slight bend to the board, not noticeable when hung, and quite the norm with old paintings. It has some surface wear, small chip below the first rose, and a couple light scuffs (that can be easily touched up if you like) and has a lovely patina. It is in the original walnut frame with a gold liner, and the frame has the usual wear with a few touchups. Each corner is adorned with an ornate three-dimensional brass corner bracket, in the shape of a cabbage rose, just complimenting the painting perfectly. This painting is not signed, but I do believe this is taken from an old study by the Victorian artist, Patty Thum. Thum was a peer of both Paul de Longpre and C. Klein, and excelled at rose studies. The overall size with the frame is 14.5 x 20.5 inches.
