This is one of Catherine Klein's best floral studies, a splendid vertical bouquet of peachy pink cabbage roses. It's in mind condition and measures 7 x 11 inches. It is marked Serie 332: No. 1, "Roses par Klein", issued by Stehli, Freres, Editeurs, Switzerland, Zurich. This was part of a series set issued in the late 1890's. Klein was painting at the same time as Paul de Longpre, and her prints are quite beautiful with their wispy style. This will frame up beautifully!
