This sweet pink rose print is by the Victorian artist, Rhoda Holmes Nicholls. She was quite famous for her floral studies, and this one is just beautiful. The pastel pink roses are superbly captured in a loose grouping. This was originally printed for the Keramic Studio in 1912. The overall framed size is 11.5 x 18 inches, and the print lays very flat in the frame (please excuse any flash glare in the photos). It is in very good to fine condition, framed in an off-white wooden moulding frame. The frame has brass three-dimensional ornate rose corner embellishments that set the print off beautifully. Nicholls was a peer of both Paul de Longpre and C. Klein.
