This gorgeous vertical study of open cabbage roses is by the French Victorian watercolorist, Paul de Longpre. It is grand bouquet of red, pink, and white roses. The details are superb, and it is in very good to fine condition. It is a half yard long tall format with rich color hues. Signed at the bottom. This sale also includes the green complimentary mat. It measures aprox 13.75 x 18 inches with the mat, and is ready to frame. Just incredibly beautiful indeed! De Longpre was also a peer of another famous artist, Catherine Klein. Please note, the print was photographed through the protective plastic cover, so it's really much sharper and brighter than shown! This print will be shipped flat and boxed for safety.
