SALE 1899 Antique Victorian ROSES Calendar Prang Chromolithograph

*Be sure to use the zoom feature to see the panels better* This sweet chromolithograph calendar for the year 1899 is entitled "Dewy Roses". It was made by the Taber Prang Art Company of Boston, Mass, and was copyrighted in 1895. Each panel has glorious old cabbage roses in beautiful hues. They are also decorated with sweet poetms, and gilded lettering. There are 5 panels and all are printed via chromolithography on very heavy rigid stock.

They are in very good condition with little wear and each panel measures aprox 9 x 10 inches. (My scanner cut off about a half inch on each side of the pages.) These are just beautiful framed up horizontally, all in one frame, like the old yard long prints. These old chromolithography calendars have rich color hues, and were the predominant color method used at the time Victorian artists such as Paul de Longpre and C. Klein were producing their prints.
