This spectacular, richly hued yard long print of double violets is by the Victorian artist, Henri Le Roy. He was a peer of both Paul de Longpre and C. Klein, and his studies are just a beautiful. This one is really quite grand, which includes a crystal bowl of violets with other violets strewn nearby, awaiting their turn to be added to the composition.
