About Us
Antique Victorian Rose Paintings & Chromolithograph Rose Art Prints, Botanicals, & Vintage Goodies! -- I've loved flowers ever since I was a little girl, planting seeds my Mother gave me just about anywhere I could find an available patch of dirt! I've grown just about any flower my gardens could accommodate, from old rugosa roses to large flower beds groaning with tall stands of huge bearded iris, giant zinnias, and dinnerplate dahlias. I was drawn to old rose paintings and vintage prints by what I call "curb appeal", and began my lifetime love of antique hunting in my early teens. Forty years later, because of my acquired love of fine art, I published the book "The Life & Art of Paul de Longpre", based on the works of the highly regarded French Victorian artist. I have written articles and have been published several times in the American Art Review and the Fan Association of North America. Victorian Rose Prints has been in business for over 10 years now, and I am VERY picky on what I offer my buyers. I am always on the lookout for only the finest in antique floral paintings, outstanding vintage prints and ephemera, as well as hand-painted china. My 40-year collection is simply overflowing with treasures. Our antique botanical art prints are great for framing, flea markets, antique shows, decoupage, and even scrapbooking! On a personal note, when I can, I travel (always looking for antiques!), and enjoy fly fishing here in the Pacific Northwest. I am a Certified Graphoanalyst (handwriting expert), and am a member of American MENSA. Fanny Mae (my pet parrot of 28 years) always keeps me company when I'm working, perched right next to my computer!
