As you can see, the celluloid “cameo” front features a beautiful young girl, inside lavender orchid, and she’s wearing an orchid headband. Surrounding this is a bright gold metal border, which features a crown-like design on each corner.

Except for the celluloid “cameo”, the entire photo album is red & light pink velvet, which is done in a swirl design. As you can see by my pictures, the velvet shows quite a bit of wear, but it still retains its “look”.

The bright gold metal clasp is intact and works perfectly. The page edges still retain most of their bright gold leafing. The spine is a bit loose.

There are 14 pages and 14 cabinet photos. Overall, the inside pages are in wonderful condition, with some torn page slots, which is quite normal.

The celluloid is in great condition, with the normal light surface scratches. There are no splits or cracks. The bottom right gold metal trim is lifting a bit, along with a portion of the right side. It's definitely not going to come off, and I wouldn't recommend gluing it down. This is quite common with this type of metal trim & I would consider it rather minor. It's being mentioned for complete accuracy.

The dimensions are: 10 ¼” down, 8 ½” across & 2” deep.

This is a beautiful looking Victorian C. 1890’s celluloid & velvet photo album. You will absolutely love it!
