This vintage glass pitcher has a great look/detail, along with being quite heavy, weighing over 2.7 lbs. The silver is bright, although it looks dark in the photos.

Please note I have shown this with a piece of pink fabric inside so you can see the decoration.

As you can see, the silver detail is along the top edges, with the ornate scrollwork silver detail right below the lip & sides. The detail continues to the handle area, although it’s not as ornate.

The silver can best be described as light silver overlay or heavy silver deposit.

The bottom has a beautiful starburst design.

The condition is very good, with the following minor imperfections to note: there are light surface scratches scattered here and there. There are chips along the bottom edges, but this can’t be seen easily; you really have to be looking for the chips to notice them when the pitcher is standing upright. The silver is in wonderful condition.

The approximate measurements are: 8 ½” tall at the tallest area next to the lip & 8” tall to the lip. The sides are approx. 7 5/8 tall, with the base measuring 4” X 4”.

This is an elegant looking vintage pitcher, which would look great on any table. I personally love using old pitchers as vases. Wouldn’t this look amazing with a summertime bouquet? No matter how you use it, you will love it.
