You are looking at a stunning hand painted vintage framed picture/plaque, which dates to the 1930's. This piece is also quite heavy, weighing over 3 lbs.

As you can see, the porcelain ceramic picture features gorgeous hand painted deep pink/purple roses, with many green & purple/green leaves. The background color at the top is a very light creamy yellow. The artist was very talented as the color combination & detail work are amazing.

The back center portion of the plaque has the name: Pomona, Made in U.S.A.

The plaque is held into place by two hard plastic tabs, located on each side. I would personally add another tab at the bottom, as the porcelain ceramic plaque is a bit smaller than the frame inset so it’s loose. I don’t believe it will fall out, but I wouldn’t take a chance. A wire picture hanger has been added from hanging, along with a single metal hook, which doesn’t serve a purpose & can be removed.

The antique gold frame, which has a dull finish, features carved detail around each corner.

The overall condition is excellent, with only minor paint loss on the frame to note. There are no chips or cracks on the plaque.

The framed dimensions are: 13 5/8” long & 7 ¾” wide. The plaque only is 11 7/8” long & 6” wide.

This is an outstanding hand painted vintage plaque, which you will absolutely love.

PLEASE NOTE I HAVE ANOTHER VINTAGE HAND PAINTED PICTURE/PLAQUE WITH THE SAME FRAME. THEY BOTH CAME FROM THE SAME ESTATE. THE OTHER IS LISTED SEPARATELY & FEATURES BLUE & WHITE FLOWERS. THAT ONE IS SIGNED & IS BY GLADDING MCBEAN/HERMOSA.
