The front of this celluloid photo album is so cute. It features a young mother, holding a book, with her index finger out; no doubt she is probably scolding her two young daughters. Each corner features raised gold embossed detail. As you can see, it also features a portion of a framed picture. The spine is done in rose, brown & black swirled velvet; it is in excellent condition, with fading & no wear whatsoever. The back is done in textured burgundy leather, which shows normal scuffs & wear. ...

This Victorian celluloid & velvet photo album is so, so pretty. As you can see, the celluloid “cameo” front features a beautiful young girl, inside lavender orchid, and she’s wearing an orchid headband. Surrounding this is a bright gold metal border, which features a crown-like design on each corner. This is one of my favorite celluloid photo album covers. It appears to be an actual hand tinted photo. Based on the inside photos, this album comes from a Swedish family as many of the photos were taken at a Goteborg photo studio As you can see, it features a little girl playing a piano, while a young boy leans against it. As you can see, he is dressed in the most fantastic outfit; he’s even wearing what appears to be, a ballet-type shoe.
