International Costume Lady Head Vase Set Inarco 60’s

Here is a very rare set of lady head vases from the 60’s. All 3 are marked Inarco E 780 Cleve Ohio 1962 and stand about 4 ¾” high. Two of them have their Japan labels still intact. Their overall condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, nicks or repairs. All the hand painting is original without touch ups.

Miss Spain wears a long taupe colored veil with wonderful ruffled edges falling softly at her shoulders. Her simple v-neck dress is cream in color. A tangerine flower is tucked in at the side of her hair. A pinhead speck of paint is off one eyelash and I see only a few sporadic crazing lines on her. She is so beautiful.

Miss China is dressed in typical oriental fashion. Her dress is also taupe in color. Her striking black hair displays a single braid with a bright orange bow. Wispy spit curls fall on her forehead. Her hat is a pale yellow. There is normal subtle crazing. She is truly lovely.

Miss Holland wears a salmon tinged Dutch styled hat. Her dress is soft green in color. Her hair is done in pigtails with bows done in the same tangerine orange paint as the others have. She is just terrific.

These little internationals are so hard to come by, especially as a set. They are known in the head vase world as the mini costume girls. If you don’t have this group in your collection, here is your chance so get them while you can. These old planters from the 60’s continue to rise in value every day and are considered “very collectible”.
