SOLD Mermaid Figurine Silvery Blue Seashell Bikini

Here is a stunning mermaid measuring 6 ½” tall and the width from her extended hand to the outside tip of her fin is 7”. The bottom is a little hard to read but looks like S.L. Clutter Hawthorne Cal Larry Nunn Design. I consider her overall condition excellent with little to no wear, just a bit dusty. At some point in her life, her tail fin was repaired. This can mostly be seen from the backside, not the front.

She is adorned with silvery blue cup shaped petals simulating seashells on her lower body, bikini top and hair. Her fin is most likely painted 24kt gold as many pieces from this era were done. Her strawberry blonde hair is up in a ponytail. She has blue eyes and wears red lipstick. She is in a sitting position with one hand on her fin and the other extended. Her skin tone is divine and the detailing of this beauty is amazing.

Vintage mermaids from the 50’s and 60’s are highly sought after and the really nice ones are so hard to come by these days. This is a terrific California pottery piece that I believe you will love. Collectors of mermaids or just beautiful lady figurines from days gone by will find her to be delightful and “very collectible”.
