Vintage MONET Enamel Framed Faux COIN Flexible Collar Necklace

This vintage flexible “snake” or gas-pipe flat collar necklace by Monet features an exceptionally well cast faux Roman or Greek coin in by an enameled mounting. The gold-plated collar is a little over ½” wide and the coin ornament is 1” high. The coin has a satin/matte surface and depicts a regal nobleman with a most elaborate headdress—you can see the braided cord, beaded crown, and even the tiny curls of hair on his head.

The collar closes with a fold-over clasp signed “Monet” and is in wonderful condition. It has a very upscale look suitable for wear with evening or business ensembles.
