C1945 CORO Vermeil Sterling CRAFT Jensen Style DOVE Brooch Pin

This circa 1945 vermeil dove pin by Coro was part of their Sterling Craft line and shows the influence of Danish jewelry design, particularly the studio of Georg Jensen, in its strong, stylized Deco / Art Moderne contours. The pin is 2 3/8” wide and 1 ½” high; the front plate is stamped in relief and the back plate is flat—this brooch has some weight to it.

The back of the brooch is signed in an oval “Sterling Craft by Coro.” This bold Moderne is in wonderful condition with only limited, very short surface scuffs and all the vermeil plating is brilliant front and back.
