My heart pumps faster when I see a classic 1930’s brass bracelet—all the more so when I spy one with dangling beads or charms as they are so much harder to find. This double novelty chain strand is really a beauty as it has thickness, glass beads, BIG brass spheres, and dangling fringes too! The bracelet measures 7 ½” long and a full 2” deep. There are five flat disks of translucent emerald green glass with filigree four-lobed floral caps atop and brass rings below. There are also five 5/8” diameter patterned brass balls with a pair of Etruscan style pear drops dangling below each.

The tubular mesh chains complement the chunky beads perfectly as does the domed box clasp. I showed the bracelet hung on a necklace form to show how the beads drape and I realized you could put a simple chain or ribbon across the back and wear it as a necklace too. The warm, aged patina of the brass lets all your admirers know you have found a period beauty and the gentle clink of the charms as they fall over your hand will make sure they notice this special 1930’s bracelet!
