This lovely brooch from couture designer, Hattie Carnegie, is gorgeous in its peridot green with orange and yellow flecked poured glass petals, framed in gold plate. Stem and leaves are gold plated with brushed enameling. The curvature and three-dimensionality of this piece of art makes it especially aesthetically beautiful.

Measures 2 3/4" inches tall X 1 3/4" inches wide. It is in very good condition, since it has some wear to the gold plated frames around the glass petals (which is not noticeable upon wearing). There's plenty of fine use left in this gorgeous designer brooch!

Hattie Carnegie's costume jewelry pieces sold on her suits were so popular that shoppers were unpinning and stealing them off the clothing on the racks! This encouraged Carnegie to start her own line of costume jewelry, sold separately!
