SOLD Art Deco "bubble bath" glass ball & celluloid chain necklace

Take a virtual bubble bath in this necklace! You don't find many of these 1920's "bubble necklaces" anymore. I have had the pleasure of finding two in the past year. This frothy one came from Hawaii. To me, they also look like Christmas ornament balls – what better necklace to wear for the holiday season?

This very interesting necklace is a sure conversation piece (when I wear mine, people tell me they can't take their eyes off of it!).

15 blown glass balls, resembling soap bubbles, are attached by a brass fitting and are suspended from a vintage celluloid plastic chain. Each bubble measures 7/8" across. The metal hook clasp is signed, "JAPAN". What a fun piece, a perfect match for the woman with a "bubbly" personality – hee, hee!

This wonderful piece measures 15 1/4" and is in superb vintage condition. Since these photos were taken, I gently cleaned the outer and inner parts of the brass fittings that attach the balls to the necklace. Due to the delicacy of this piece, I will only ship it priority mail to secure your investment.
