It's not too often you find a vintage cross with matching earrings, and this pair is quite beautiful. Such a feminine set from Mexico, however there's nothing dainty about the sterling weight of the chain – an impressive 24 grams, woven in a 3-link repeating rope design. The sterling silver chain is marked Italy, but I think it works nicely with the cross.

The earrings feature emerald cut square, round chaton and teardrop amethyst gem stones, all bezel set – which dangle from a single, larger amethyst stone, complemented by a sterling silver ball that dangles from the lower half of the diamond shaped earrings.

The Christian cross measures 2" inches X 1 1/2" inches without the bail. The bail adds an additional 1/4" inch drop from the chain. The earrings drop 1 3/4" inches, and are just shy of 5/8" of an inch wide, at their widest point.
