The aurora borealis oval stones on these earrings are nothing short of spectacular. Their sparkle really sings! Their changing color has overtones of aqua and Caribbean ocean green - a real depth to this stone that is indescribable.
I was told these were Juliana, but I cannot be totally sure, so I am listing them as Juliana-style. The colors and composition certainly are similar to Juliana designs. My hesitation to call them Juliana also comes from the fact that the marquis stones/navettes are not sharply elongated, which is a trademark of Juliana pieces. Whomever the designer, he/she hit the bulls eye on these earrings!
The impressive aurora borealis stones are encircled by round and marquis stones (or navettes) in a rich caramel topaz hue. I had my jeweler convert these to pierced, and they did a great job. The posts and wing backs are both 14K gold filled. In order to be meticulously accurate, there is a minute scratch on one of the earrings, not visible by the naked eye, or while wearing. This is the only flaw I see.
These earrings really pop, I kid you not. I think they are just the right size, measuring 1 1/16" inches long by 3/4" of an inch wide, at its widest point.
