RARE Chanel Sautoir is here!!! ~ Plus, Christmas items coming in!
SIZE: 21 7/8" X 15"
It's hard to describe how gorgeous my father's pieces are, without being able to see them in person, but one of our customers did a nice job of it:
"I just received the picture. I cannot explain to you well enough (because I don't have the words) how much I love it! I did not expect that the excellence of the quality would surprise, but it did! The beauty of the photo is evident on the computer screen, but is impossible to the show how the Giclee on Canvas enhances the photo, a marriage that produced an outstanding piece of fine art."
This giclee on canvas photo shows the ocean bottom at Norton Point, shot from an airplane at an altitude of about 800 feet. What you see in this image are NOT waves. The Pilot Artist, Dick Sherman explains, "The water was all smooth that day I was flying. What appears to be waves is really the bottom. You could not have waves like those on a point like that."
Norton Point is located on the southeast corner of Martha’s Vineyard, a magical isle located south of Cape Cod, Masschusetts in the Atlantic Ocean. Approximate latitude 41º 15', Longitude 71º 15'
About Norton Point: Norton Point Beach no longer connects Edgartown and Chappaquiddick on the island. The ocean caused a breach in this barrier beach in April of 2007. It is not known when it will fill in. During storms, waves can completely submerge the beach. The result is that the width of Norton Point Beach can vary dramatically—from 95 feet to 300 feet. This ever-changing environment provides nesting for shore birds and a sporting challenge for the fishermen who surfcast for "Blues and Stripers" from this popular site.

WHAT IS A GICLEE?
Giclee (pronounced “gee-clay”) is a highly sophisticated inkjet printing process. Giclee printing is widely recognized as being the highest quality of all existing fine art printing methods. Museums have made Giclee editions a permanent part of their collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
These limited edition prints are created from high-resolution digital images, using the finest archival quality ink and canvas available, resulting in color saturation and image detail capture that exceeds other types of image reproduction. The result is a photograph that has the look and feel of a painting. The Canvas Giclee is also protected from fading due to the use of UV inks that can assure the art image to last for 75 years or more.
