It's hard to describe how gorgeous my father's pieces are, without being able to see them in person, but one of our customers did a nice job of it:

This giclee on canvas photo shows an aerial view of a Chappaquiddick marsh area, located on the east side of the magical isle known as Martha's Vineyard. The Pilot Artist, Dick Sherman, took this photograph from his Navion airplane at an altitude of about 1,000 feet.

This spit of land that is minutely separated from the rest of the towns on Martha's Vineyard is accessible via the "On Time Ferry", which carries only passengers and three cars at a time across Edgartown Harbor.

Martha’s Vineyard is located south of Cape Cod, Massachusetts in the Atlantic ocean. Approximate latitude 41º 15', Longitude 71º 15'

Photograph is Giclee* printed with 75-year archival ink on high gloss canvas. Highly skilled framers stretch the Canvas Giclee over a solid wood frame. This print is "museum wrapped". WHAT IS A GICLEE?

Giclee (pronounced “gee-clay”) is a highly sophisticated inkjet printing process. Giclee printing is widely recognized as being the highest quality of all existing fine art printing methods. Museums have made Giclee editions a permanent part of their collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. These limited edition prints are created from high-resolution digital images, using the finest archival quality ink and canvas available, resulting in color saturation and image detail capture that exceeds other types of image reproduction. The result is a photograph that has the look and feel of a painting. The Canvas Giclee is also protected from fading due to the use of UV inks that can assure the art image to last for 75 years or more.
