SALE 16” 1930's Ideal All Original Shirley Temple Doll ~ Nice Composition Doll ~ Excellent Condition

This little beauty is a 16” all-original Shirley Temple doll. She is all composition, and was manufactured in the 1930’s by Ideal Doll Company. She’s in excellent condition for her age. She’s signed on her back, “Shirley Temple 16,” and on the back of her neck, “16, Shirley Temple, Cop Ideal N & T Co.” Her sleep eyes are clear. She is all-original, including her blonde mohair wig, plaid dress from the movie “Bright Eyes,” onesie, shoes and socks. This is her detailed description:

HEAD: Her composition head’s in excellent condition. If you look closely, there’s the tiniest imagineable nick on her upper lip. Otherwise, there are no chips, cracks, repairs, or repaint. (just 2-3 light craze lines) She has sleep eyes that are clear. She has full upper eyelashes, and painted lower lashes. Her light blonde eyebrows are painted and feathered. Her mouth is open, with (4) tiny upper teeth. There are a couple of teeny lip rubs.

WIG: Her original blonde mohair wig has plenty of hair, but could use some styling.

BODY: Her all-composition body’s in excellent condition. The body is jointed at the shoulders and hips. I don’t see any cracks, chips, repairs, or repaint. There are minor play rubs at the joints, and at one toe. All fingers and toes are intact.

CLOTHES: She is all original, including her dress, onesie, shoes and socks. Her original dress is from the Shirley Temple movie, “Bright Eyes.” It’s a brown, gold & beige plaid cotton dress. It has a large collar with cute trim, and bands at the sleeves. The dress closes in back with (2) little buttons. The dress is in sturdy condition. Her original white cotton onesie is adorable. It’s a one-piece sleeveless slip with attached panties. There is dainty lace trim at the hem of the skirt and panties. It has no closures, and it never did. There are a few little pinholes from it being pinned shut in the back. The onesie is in nice, sturdy and clean condition. Her rayon stockings are in very good condition, but could definitely benefit from a washing. Her original center-snap oilcloth shoes are sturdy, but they have some wear and discoloration.
