HEAD: Her bisque socket head is PERFECT, with NO hairlines, chips, cracks, or repairs. She has a few pinpoint rubs on her left cheek. She has pretty blue sleep eyes. One eye is set back slightly when her eyes are closed. Her painted upper & lower eyelashes are painted at a slant. Her painted eyebrows are well done, with nice feathering. She still has nice rosy cheeks. Her mouth is open with (2) upper baby teeth, and the cutest “wobble tongue.” Her lips are well-painted and shaded.
WIG: She’s wearing a light brown human hair wig in a toddler style with bangs. The wig is vintage, and may be original.
BODY: Her original all-composition baby body is jointed at the shoulders and hips. The body has all original finish, with no evidence of repair or repaint. It’s a sturdy body that was played with. There’s wear and chipping at the shoulder and hip joints. There’s a hairline crack on the behind, and a vertical hairline crack on the back torso. (see photo) There are rubs on the knees, heels, toes, and fingers. All fingers and toes are intact.
CLOTHES: She’s adorably dressed, and her full slip is original. Her cotton print dress is vintage (or antique), and is all handstitched. It’s a green flowered print dress with a slim white band at the neck. It’s pinned shut in the back, and it never had any closures. There are (2) rows of dainty lace running the length of the dress in front. There is also lace trim at the cuffs. There are several rows of tiny pintucks on the front & back of the bodice. The dress is in very nice condition for the age. Her original full slip is adorable! It’s sleeveless, with a white cotton bodice, and an ecru flannel skirt. There is featherstitching and pretty lace trim at the hem. The slip’s in very good condition, and closes in back with (2) buttons. She’s wearing white cotton anklets (one has a tiny hole at the toe), and handmade white leather shoes with center-snaps. One of the snaps is broken, so I stitched it shut after taking the photos.
