SALE 18” Ideal “Miss Revlon” Vinyl Doll ~ All Original ex Slip ~ Tagged Dress ~ 1950’s Vinyl Doll

This pretty 18” Miss Revlon doll is all original, except for a replaced slip. She’s in very good condition for her age. She was manufactured by Ideal Doll Company. She is signed on the back of her neck, “Ideal Doll, VT-18,” and on each leg “18.” She is a vinyl doll, and is jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. She's also jointed at the waist, which allows her to pose well. Her rooted hair is original, full, and styled well. She’s wearing her original dress with the Ideal tag, original panties, shoes, earrings, and fur stole. She didn’t have a slip, so we gave her one. This is her detailed description:

HEAD: Her soft vinyl head’s in very good condition. She has pretty blue sleep eyes that work perfectly. She has full upper eyelashes. A few lashes are shorter on the left eye. She has painted bottom eyelashes. Upon close examination, what I thought was an eyelash on the side of her left eye is actually the tiniest-imagineable split. She has painted & feathered eyebrows, which are a little lighter on the right side. She has a closed mouth with painted ruby red lips. The lips have no rubs. I see no green at her ears. She’s wearing her original rhinestone earrings. Her original light brown rooted hair is nice, full and well-styled.

BODY: Her hard vinyl body’s in very nice condition. She has a defined bust, and is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. She’s also jointed at the waist (a twist waist), which allows her to pose well. Her fingers and toes, as well as the polish, are intact. The body has no cracks, chips, repairs, or repaint. There is very minor rubbing at the waist, and a tiny red pen mark on the back upper leg. (less than ¼”)

CLOTHES: She’s wearing her original tagged dress, panties, heels, and fur stole. She didn’t have a slip so we gave her one. Her original cocktail dress is light blue taffeta with a leaf motif. The dress has the original tag which reads, “Revlon Doll by Ideal.” It has a pretty molded bodice and a full skirt. The upper bodice and cap sleeves are made of white tulle, and there are (2) tulle ruffles on the bodice. The elastic on the sleeves has loosened, and the tulle is not as white as it once was. There is also a white tulle sash at the waist that ties in the back. The dress closes in back with (3) little snaps. Except for a tear in the tulle on the bodice, the dress is in nice condition. Her original panties are white taffeta with a relaxed elastic waist, and dainty lace at the legs. Her white fur stole is missing a lot of fur on one side, but it's original and still with her after all these years. We gave her a newer white slip that feels like silk to me. It’s a full, halter-type slip that ties at the back of the neck. It has pretty lace trim at the neck and hem. The slip has a small tear in the back. Her black plastic high heels have red lining, elastic at the toe, gold toe decorations, and an elastic back. The heels are in excellent condition.
