This 16" Kley & Hahn Walkure #250 is a lovely antique doll. She's in excellent condition for her age. She was manufactured in the early 1900's by the German firm of Kley & Hahn. The heads for mold #250 were made by the J. D. Kestner factory to Kley & Hahn's specifications. She's signed on the back of her head, “250, K.H., Walkure, 0 ½, Germany.” Her German bisque socket head is perfect, and her original composition body's in excellent condition. She's wearing a pretty brown mohair wig. Her cotton onesie and full slip are original. We gave her a vintage factory dress & bonnet that's perfect for her. This is her detailed description:

HEAD: She has a perfect bisque socket head, with NO hairlines, chips, cracks, repairs, or factory flaws. Other than a teeny rub on the tip of her nose, her head is absolutely flawless. She has good quality bisque, and pretty coloring. She has beautiful blue paperweight eyes that sleep perfectly. Her painted features include nicely painted & feathered eyebrows, painted upper & lower eyelashes, and a pretty bow-shaped mouth with coral lips. Her mouth is open, with (4) upper teeth. Her dark brown mohair wig is clean and full, with pretty curls. The wig is a little large, but looks great on her.

BODY: Her original composition body is in excellent condition for the age. The body's fully-jointed at the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. There are a few little chips, and the varnish on the torso has yellowed a little. Her stringing is a bit loose, but fine. Except for a little touchup on one foot, the body is all original finish.

CLOTHES: She's wearing her original full slip and onesie-type bloomers. Both are in very nice condition. We gave her a darling vintage dress & bonnet. (factory made) The dress has a light brown skirt and an ecru bodice. The attached brown jacket matches the skirt. The matching bonnet is a poke-type bonnet that really suits her. The entire outfit is trimmed with brown & ecru trim. There's a tiny hole in the back of the bonnet, a small tear on the back of one arm, and a slightly discolored area in the back. Her original full slip and onesie-type bloomers are a perfectly-matched set. They are trimmed with the same lace at the collar, sleeves and hem. Both are sleeveless, and close in back with (2) tiny buttons. She's wearing newer white fishnet-type thigh-high stockings. Her ecru suede shoes are newer. They tie in the center, and there's a bow and gold-colored decoration on the toe.
