This sweet-faced old woman is patiently knitting stockings while waiting for folks to purchase her flowers. The detail of this piece is wonderful with the hinged box stand, the tulips and roses, and the green water bucket to keep the flowers fresh. The number of this piece is 2431 and the marks on the bottom date it to somewhere between 1966 to 1985. Condition: Excellent; no chips, cracks, or repairs. Westmoreland Glass Co produced the paneled grape milk glass pattern (#1881) from 1940 to 1984. This olive dish with handle is 5 1/4 inches across and 2 1/8 inches high. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The olive dish bears the embossed WG mark used from 1949 to 1984.

Desert Gold Sandwich glass was produced by Anchor Hocking during the 1940s through the 1960s. This set contains 20 pieces 4 lunch plates, 4 saucers, 4 cups, and 4 small dessert bowls. I could find no chips or cracks on any of the pieces. Overall, these pieces are in excellent condition and would make a lovely addition to anyones table. I was very tempted to keep them myself. Westmoreland Glass Co. produced the paneled grape milk glass, Pattern 1881, from 1940 to 1984. The embossed WG mark is located on the inside of the lid of this puff box. The box stands at 5 1/4 inches high, including lid. I find no chips or cracks on this piece. The embossed WG mark was used from 1949 to 1984 according to the National Westmoreland Glass Collector's Club website.

Jeannette Glass Company produced the Sierra or Pinwheel pattern between 1931 and 1933. This oval vegetable bowl is 9 1/4 inches long and is pink in color. This bowl is in mint excellent condition with a few minor fleabites-however all of the points are present and accounted for on this piece. A wonderful piece for anyone who collects this pattern. The bowl is pictured in the Collector's Encyclopedia or Depression Glass, Sixteenth Edition, by Gene and Cathy Florence, page 212.
