Interesting double deck of cards that appear to have been made by Atlantic Playing Card Co., in all likelihood a subsidiary or division of United States Playing Card Co. The symbol on the Ace of Spades for these decks is the same as was used for Atlantic's "Diavolo" deck, but without the accompanying depiction of the "diavolo" and without the Atlantic name. [see, Dawson, The Hochman Encyclopedia of American Playing Cards, p.106, US51] The "Diavolo" deck is dated 1910 by Dawson/Hochman, and I have adopted that date here. The cards are wide cards, measuring 90mm x 64mm, and the decks are full 52-card decks (no jokers, no box).
The cards have been lightly used, if at all, and are in excellent condition.
Thanks for visiting.
