Charles Goodall "The Cribbage Board," No. 2297, c.1900

Extremely handsome cribbage board made by Charles Goodall & Son, Ltd., c.1900, called simply "The Cribbage Board," and numbered 2297. It is inlaid with a variety of different woods, and has a rich patina. It was sold to me with 4 bone/ivory pegs – 2 that are a lavender/purple color that match and 2 that are white that do not – that are stored at either end in holes covered by metal swivels, and the pegs fit the peg holes reasonably well. The board sits on small brass feet, and the Goodall label is intact and in very good condition on the underside of the board. It measures 9½” in length by 2½” in width.

The board is in excellent condition, and has a beautiful look.
