Beautiful deck of cards made by publisher Ceska Graficka “Unie” of Prague, c.1920. The court cards are in the Viennese small crown pattern, and the backs – no. 24 according to the wrapper – depict a woman dressed only in a wrap around the waist, who looks a bit like a classical Greek or Roman figure.

The deck has 52 cards, plus 2 Jokers. The cards are large, wide, and on thick stock. They measure 93mm x 68mm, and the deck is approximately 20% thicker than a standard deck with a similar number of cards. The cards are accompanied by the original wrapper and were only recently removed from it for viewing.

The cards are perfect, in mint condition, as if printed yesterday. The wrapper is clean, with bright images, but it was never strong or sturdy and must be handled carefully to avoid further deterioration.
