Richly colored deep green pottery covered casserole with unique details. The bowl features a basket weave texture along with brown rope-like trim and handles. The lid knob is fashioned as a mushroom with a mossy base. Its style is similar to earlier Majolica pieces. The bowl is marked on the bottom side, ‘1137 Made in Belgium 2L Tellurite’. Also stamped in the center is ‘For F[?]WH’. I have not been able to find any information regarding the manufacturer.

Condition of both pieces is very good with no damage other than slight darkened crazing on the inside of the bowl. There are no chips or cracks and the lid is in perfect condition. Overall measurements are 9” in diameter (without handles) and 5 ½” tall.
