Russian Hand Painted Lacquer Box

Black paper mache with lacquer hand painted scene from the fairy tale 'Ruslan and Ludmila'. The box is signed in gold along bottom by name of tale, artist and where created. I don't know in which order. Box is also signed on bottom with 'Made in USSR'. Circa 1970s. Measures 5.5" x 3.75" x 1.75" and has red interior. Scene depicted is of Ruslan and the Head, showing the magic sward in the beard. Box has some minor usage evidence but is in very good vintage condition.
