$235 USDVictorian Silverplate Covered Serving Dish
Silver:Silverplate:Barbour Silver Co
Beautiful silver plate, covered serving dish decorated with grapes and leaves was made by the Barbour Silver Co. in the late 1800s. This vegetable serving dish has suffered very little plate loss and has a beautiful glow. Bottom measures 12.5" wide by 10" wide in an oval shape. This was a three piece set at one time, however the underplate is gone. The bottom has the Barbour Silver Co mark.

Oval shaped serving bowl with decorative edging is 12" by 9" and in excellent vintage condition, plate loss is limited to bottom only. Signed WM Rogers.

Reed and Barton silverplate waste bowl has ornate scalloped edging and flower decorated feet, is monogrammed with the initials; WMC and is in good condition. There are utensil marks to inside of bowl area and slight surface marring to outside finish. Bowl has age related patina and is signed on bottom: Reed and Barton 1795. Bowl measures 3.5" from table to top of scalloped edges.

Silverplate gravy boat with underplate has mellow vintage patina and is signed with: Apollo EPNS Made in USA By Bernard Rice and Sons Inc. 4189. Condition is very good with some utensil marks to inside of gravy boat and marring to area of underplate where gravy boat is seated. Clean, simple design.

Roll top butter dish with glass liner has engraved scroll design on lid and ball and claw feet. Excellent vintage condition, there is a small stress crack on back of dome, some slight plate loss along rolled edge. Made in England circa 1950s.

Poole silverplate ice bucket is monogrammed and was a decathlon trophy in 1957. Front is engraved as follows: I.G.W. 1957 Decathlon All Events 2nd Place Garland Knight. Ice bucket has a swing handle which raises and lowers lid while keeping unit intact. There are some water drop marks on finish, inside has some staining but no rust or deep scratches. Measures 12.5" to top of handle. Bottom is signed: Poole Silver Co. Taunton, Mass. 3800.

Lovely silverplate covered butter serving plate with engraved flower design on lid and knife rest built in to tray. This is in excellent vintage condition and the only damage is a small dent on resting area of base near right handle and a scratched dent in back. Plate wear is negligible. Bottom is signed Westminster XXXX heavy silver plate C.M.C.

Antique Victorian basket is engraved with fruit and reticulated design. Edges and base are textured with lovely daisy's and scrollwork. 12" long by 8.5" wide by 2.75" high. This gorgeous piece of Victorian art has aged very gracefully. There is evidence of repair work and a weld. Also I believe this had a handle at one time as there is evidence of it having been removed and some broken areas along the reticulated area where the handle was.
