This small piece of Seminole-style patchwork is Ohio Amish, probably Holmes County, and dates from the Depression era. The fabrics are cottons and cotton-rayon blends. There is thinning of some of the black fabric. Originally this piece was part of a chair-seat cushion cover. It measures 17" X 21." It is suitable for framing or making into a pillow. This piece has been in a collection since the 1980's.
