These average to large size trousers are hand stitched in both the construction and the embroidery. The embroidery is in cotton thread and mainly cross-stitched. The design suggests South American work but is more likely Southeast Asian. The work is beautiful and tiny, of the type done earlier in the century. They are wearable, if one wishes; they have a drawstring waist. They would be the length of crop pants; they are 27 1/2" long. However, these trousers qualify as art and could be hung as an interesting art piece.
