This simple, elegant tea cloth in pure white linen dates from around 1920. There is a geometric drawn-work design, done by hand, that forms an inner border around the cloth. The outer border has a 1 3/4" hand-drawn hem and 3 1/4" edging of linen hand-crochet work. The corners are expertly done. The edging was made just for this cloth and not recycled from an older one; it fits perfectly. The cloth measures 42" X 44" and is in excellent condition.
