SALE Sterling Silver and Enamel Orchid Pin

This small pin, marked "sterling" on the back, is a beautiful example of cloisonne enamel. There are three colors; lavender, purple, and gold. The sections of color are outlined in silver, forming the delicate orchid design set off with a gold bow. The design suggests a date of the 1920's. It is probably of domestic origin, although similar jewelry was made in France and other places. It is of good construction. The pin is 7/8" X 1" and light enough to wear on a collar or dress. It is in excellent condition, and it has a safety catch.
