This set of pottery canisters dates from between 1920 and 1936, the years of the Czech republic. The floral decoration of roses is transfer; the words are hand-painted. The set is complete; there are 6 large canisters (flour, sugar, coffee, tea, rice, and oatmeal), 6 spice jars (pepper, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves), a hanging salt box with wooden lid, and a pair of vinegar and oil cruets. All pieces have their lids. There is some minor damage: the pepper jar was glued; the coffee canister has a chip; but the set is complete, and most pieces are perfect. All pieces are marked "Urbach Freres Made in Czechoslovakia." Canisters are 8" tall; spice jars are 4" tall.
